Any shows like Tuca & Bertie? Anonymous 24818

I just finished the second season of Tuca & Bertie, and it left me wanting more.

I'm mostly interested in shows about women and their friendships, but I'm open to anything. (I've already seen BoJack Horseman though.)

I like Broad City, but sometimes it can be too much. Ilana is… kind of a terrible friend to Abbi.

Derry Girls and The Golden Girls are good, but they don't quite fit the vibe I'm looking for. Maybe it's because they're about different age groups.

Daria has a lot of the same, it's a lot longer I think they released the uncut version

Have you seen Eizouken? I really like how it portrays how hanging out with friends felt during my formative years

You’re in luck. It looks like Tuca and Bertie season 3 is coming out on Adult Swim and HBO Max on July 10th. I’m not being paid to say that, I’m just genuinely glad I don’t have to torrent it this time.

The following are more ensemble cast shows but they all have great interpersonal arcs and are really funny: What We Do In The Shadows, Close Enough, Harley Quinn and Reservation Dogs. I also really recommend the first three seasons of Infinity Train for just being damn good sci-fi animation. (Season 4 was fucking awful though.)

Kuragehime/Princess Jellyfish, it only got like 11 episodes, sadly. It doesn't have a lot of deep friendship moments but I love how the protagonist's friends are portrayed.
I'm going to read the manga because apparently the romance becomes less important there.
