Honestly I can’t stop chugging beatboxes
Anonymous 297728
nona alcohol is terrible for you. it makes you bloated and destroys your liver. instead of being drunk on alcohol, why not be drunk on life? that's what makes me comfy the most
Anonymous 297729
Wine. Always wine
Wine every day
Maybe weed too

I dont really drink but I can understand the appeal of wanting to live life in a drunken stupor. This world sucks and if you can get some joy via a sippy go for it.
Anyways I made watermelon wine once. It was tasty. I like nice mead too.
Anonymous 297757
Alcohol and weed are the only things that turn off my extreme depression and androphobia. Fucking miracle drugs I say.
Anonymous 297870
i dont like the way alcohol makes me feel but cider and malt are pretty comfy. if you want a drink for max comfiness maybe you could try irish milk punch if you havent done so already. its usually whiskey infused into milk it has a spicy kick but its blended with comforting flavours like honey, cinnamon, nutmeg. expensive way to get shitfaced but worth a try. i like it

I like white wine or vodka especially during a rainy day. I should probably stop for a while though. My liver levels are pretty high. I love drinking though…
Anonymous 297913
>>297757androphobia is your brain trying to prevent you from being hurt by moids. trust me…moids are irredeemable. i have NEVER met a SINGLE good moid.

Bless the gov for letting me continue this half life

Same! Wish I could drink everyday, drunk naps are the best. Tequila is my favorite, but cider is the comfiest.
Anonymous 298621
whiskey and philosophy are cozy together, all the greats were drunk or high on something
Anonymous 298638
>>297722Either wine or amaretto, amaretto for sipping and wine for when you don't want to sip.

Anonymous 299418
I smoke weed like a chimney when I get home everyday and take gin shots like candy when my period rolls around. I was doing well with no alcohol recently but oh well

intoxicants are bad and do more harm than good, casual drinking culture should be phased out
Anonymous 300702
I've been having trouble with acid reflux lately so I can't really drink liqour anymore. I've been drinking bud light platinum. They still can get you fucked up, and they are cleaner than regular cheap beer. But most nights I don't drink them fast enough to really be drunk, but I don't think I should buy liqour anymore.

>>300747Yes, yes I am. I love you nona.

alcohol is a cope and is useless
Anonymous 301485
>>297722Beer, I promise I'm not a pickme, it's just what tastes best to me. Maybe port wine too..
I just love the feeling that being drunk gives you, you just feel so happy and blissful and nothing is wrong. I never get hangovers either.
Anonymous 301518
Excited to drink tonight!
Anonymous 301750
Drinking a white sour by myself with a fireplace youtube video on. Top comfy. I'm so glad this site exists.
Anonymous 301855
>>299418replying to my own post a month later on my period and drinking again. Can't escape this fucked cycle but I'm trying my damned hardest
Anonymous 301982
BUMP!!!
Drinking cider and snowballs tonight girlies….
I hope my palette can mature to drink wine more often.
i dont mind white but red tastes like VINEGAR
Anonymous 301994
i never drink and never intend so i know my parents and i don't wanna end up like them
Anonymous 302033
>>301982But wine can be so good, what cider are you drinking? I have jammy red because I'm a filthy red wine drinker. It's honestly quite nice with some dark chocolate to balance it out
Anonymous 302035
I used to drink years ago after I went through a few bad relationships and some other bad experiences, I used it as a cope
I can't stand alcohol anymore, even just the smell puts me off, it negatively impacted my health as well
I'm glad I quit but I wish so bad that I could go back and never fall for the alcohol meme, the people who treated me bad don't even matter anymore, I wish I never let them affect me
Anonymous 302084
>>301879I found this appropriate to respond to after having some gin. I haven't had too many, but the best I've ever had is Hendrick's. Incredibly smooth and worth its price point.
These gins are good and ones I rotate between drinking (in no particular order): Beefeater, Tanqueray, Bombay Sapphire, Broker's
St. Augustine's has a slight orange taste and is only available in Florida. Not quite my favorite but it might appeal to others.
Worst I've had is Seagram's. Tastes like poison and makes you feel horrible the next day.
Anonymous 302482
dionysus aesthetic…

Does anyone have wine recs for a nona who has yet to find a wine she likes?
I like most beers and liquors but wine eludes me. I've tried whites and reds and don't like either, although white is a bit more palatable.
Anonymous 302493
>>302084Beefeaters has lead me to many bad decisions, lol. I've never tried Hendricks. I like trying craft gin occasionally when I go out. I used to work for a small distillery, which is how I got interested in gin in the first place.
Anonymous 302496
>>302482You’ll just have to try lots of different ones. Just keep mental notes of grapes and origin of the wines you try. If you, like me, like big reds, which are very fruity and taste wise frontloaded I can highly recommend Portuguese wines. They are doubly interesting due to using their own grape varieties
Anonymous 302509
>>297722Would love to drink but I get hives and an itchy red face with accelerated heart rate whenever I crack open the lightest beer possible.
Do I have to build tolerance? Will my allergy ever go away? I want to be able to drink all those fancy cocktails. It’s my dream to try kahula (? Dunno if spelt right but it’s a Russian coffee liquor)
Anonymous 302510
Drinking makes my life worse. I waste money, ruin relationships, i do things that i regret, my mental and physical health gets worse too. It doesn't make any sense to drink and yet i do it anyway.
Anonymous 302511
>>302509Anon your allergy isn't going to go away.
Anonymous 302512
Had a crazy fun night out with lemon sours, beer, and whiskey high balls!
Anonymous 302561
Last time I drank too much, woke up at 4am, bought some alcohol at a convenience store, and walked around for about an hour without drinking it. I thought I lost my keys but they were in my bag. Now I'm being pressured to stop drinking but I don't want to.
Anonymous 302593
>>302511Maybe I smoke weed instead then
Anonymous 303018
>>302593Highly criminalized where I live. I'm being forced to be sober and I hate it.
Anonymous 303413
For some reason I need a ton of alcohol to get drunk?? Like I'll chug 500ml of straight vodka and feel nothing. Like, I'm a big girl, but damn. Does anyone have a similar experience or know what could be up with my body? It's not a tolerance thing, I rarely drink and I've only been drunk like five times in my whole life because it's so unpleasant and expensive to drink that much alcohol.
Anonymous 303415
>>303413Probably just your weight but that's still a lot. I've consumed almost 1000ml a night and been super intoxicated. It is not good for you at all. Also the speed you consume it and how much food you have effects it. If you really want to feel it just take shots, should only take 5 to feel intoxicated. Hell its not even really safe to drive after two. But technically I think 4 or 5 brings you over the legal limit. I'm 200lbs and I can get tipsy off 5 shots
Anonymous 303420
>>303413i have a similarly high tolerance but its just cuz i drink too much. it could be genetic, some people handle alcohol much better
>>302509allergies CAN go away but u cant build a tolerance to them. that makes it worse, not better, cuz ur constantly irritating it. if u dont drink for a few years and come back to it u may find ur allergy gone. it happened to me with eggs
Anonymous 303515
I finally got to drink again! Beer, a lemon sour, a highball, and even a vodka redbull lol.
Anonymous 303834
Got a nice buzz last night/this morning. It was nice. Vodka is the best.

Pleasantly wine drunk. Lately I've been drinking wine a lot. 500ml/a night for a 48kg woman is probably alcoholic territory but I don't want toknow so I haven't looked it up.

Americans scream tyranny is wonderful, but Americans are unable to explain why Cubans try to escape even though Cuba has gun control and free medical care.
Anonymous 310100
Had a beer and a whiskey highball again tonight. Feeling comfy. I'm going to go to bed early.
Anonymous 310122
Discovered a 4% alcohol whiskey highball so I'm pregaming with that!
Anonymous 310128
>>309979The claim that Americans are unable to explain why Cubans try to escape even though Cuba has gun control and free medical care is a simplification that ignores a complex reality.
Here's a breakdown of the multiple reasons why Cubans seek to leave their country, despite the existence of gun control and free healthcare:
Economic hardship: Cuba has been facing a severe economic crisis for decades, exacerbated by the collapse of the Soviet Union, the long-standing U.S. embargo, and the recent impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. This has led to shortages of basic goods like food, medicine, fuel, and hygiene products. The planned economy, dominated by state-run enterprises, has struggled with inefficiency and low productivity, resulting in stagnant incomes and a decline in living standards. Many Cubans see emigration as a way to escape these economic difficulties and pursue better opportunities abroad.
Political repression and lack of freedom: Cuba is a one-party communist state that restricts political pluralism, independent media, and suppresses dissent. The government engages in arbitrary detentions, harassment, and intimidation of critics, activists, and journalists. Peaceful protesters have been criminalized and subjected to harsh prison sentences. The government controls most media outlets and restricts access to uncensored information online. Cubans also face restrictions on freedom of movement within the country and the right to leave. The government has even pressured activists into exile as an alternative to imprisonment. These human rights concerns play a significant role in motivating Cubans to leave.
Deterioration of social services: While Cuba's healthcare system is known for its strong primary care focus and impressive health outcomes despite limited resources, reports indicate that the system has deteriorated in recent years due to the economic crisis and the U.S. embargo. Access to medicine and medical supplies remains challenging. Similarly, the education system, though historically valued, has seen a decline in quality. These issues, coupled with the erosion of the social safety net, contribute to widespread dissatisfaction.
Search for better living conditions and opportunities: Many Cubans, particularly young, well-educated individuals, are leaving in search of better living conditions and prospects for their future. They desire greater economic and political freedoms and the opportunity to live in a society that offers more individual choices and opportunities.
It's important to recognize that Cuban migration is driven by a combination of factors, including economic hardship, political limitations, and human rights concerns. While Cuba's healthcare system and gun control policies are notable aspects of the country, they do not fully encapsulate the complex reasons behind the significant number of Cubans seeking to leave the island.
