I hated java at first when I studied it, I studied it for 5 years and all I use it for is minecraft and some minor other stuff, common lisp is the most comfy language to me and what I prefer to use, C is the least comfy language and made me hate computers lol

Have you tried Clojure? It has access to the entire Java standard library (due to being a JVM language) and is still Lisp-based. You may like it if you prefer Lisp but want the power of Java.
