Imagine some random drunk asshole calling you a skank and this guy walks over to him and physically fights him about it when the two of you could simply leave. That's not the kind of response I'd expect from a regular adult. 
Some people are more prone to violence and that's a dangerous trait in itself. I wouldn't immediately stop being friends with someone over one potential red flag, but I doubt I'd date him.

Depends on the person and situation ofc. Guys who believe it entitles them to anything are certainly not dating material though.
