If you tell a f0id to shut up, it instantly will, it can't help but retreat back to its natural instincts to obey a man. We've trained these stupid creatures for thousands of years; if you understand the right commands and movements, they will obey.

I never heard the Chuunibyou english dub, until now a little bit, the voices aren't as bad as GuP which by far is the worst english dub ever made, it was probably headed by some f0id who refused to care about a military anime.
But the only reason I'm bringing this up is to show how often english dubs and subs for that matter, they are made by these narcissistic psychopaths, who think they can change someone else's art.
This is what Dekomori is suppose to say in this scene, in the english dub she just says "my uniform is an illusion". One of the greatest subtle background things in this show is the fact Dekomori is really good at school. She says she's the same age as second and third year children, and so Yuuta assumes as we would that she was held back a grade. And it's never fully explained, but much later there's a scene where kids are asking for her help with school work, so she actually probably skipped a grade. Well that entire subtle background joke is non-existent in the dub. Because morons decided that they knew better than the actual creators and just decided to change what characters were suppose to say for no reason other than to be terrible horrible useless "translators" "localisers" and I pity anyone who gets into these awful dubs. Haruhi, Lucky Star, Dragonball, obviously the best dubs of all time. But usually not good at all.
