Is this a joke? I can think of a bunch of reasons men would want to pretend to be women in a space intended to be female only. Trolling other guys for fun, influencing women, being trans, instigating arguments between women for fun, getting closer to women in hopes of getting nudes/sexting/etc, being in a less overtly confrontational space because women usually just stay quiet when another woman says some insane shit, just staying undercover so they don't get banned, and many more. Like I've said before, have you actually talked to other women IRL? The vast majority would not be caught dead on a site like this. It's really only the minority of outcast girls who end up on sites like these just like it's primarily outcast guys who end up on sites like 4chan. If you're out and about all day with friends, family, or other responsibilities, you're not even going to have the time to find these sites unless somebody mentions them to you (though to be fair places like 4chan have been in the news so that's more of a special case).

Trannies are rare, yeah they’d be over represented on imageboards but I don’t see a reason to think they’re congregating here specifically. Plus I don’t think the active trolling and nudes angle is super plausible here considering Reddit is way better for those motivations, more than a dead site like cc. But some do post bait here occasionally, yeah, I’ll admit.

I think you have to stop asking yourself why a man would come here and start asking yourself why a woman would. There's no real reason to because there's no real community here. In any case I honestly don't really think this is something worth debating over as it'll always be primarily speculation until everyone is forced to post their hand/face with a timestamp or something. The stuff people talk about here is mostly goofy drama or blogposting about their life so it's not like it's all that important

Now that’s an idea for a thread lol. Personally I just like sites that are slow (so I don’t get addicted to constantly posting), don’t ban vpns (I live in an authoritarian state) and sites that don’t require registration (anti bot measures are way too severe nowadays)
And cc specifically so I won’t get harassed by mentioning woman stuff. And I like the feels board.
