What is it like to be autistic? Is it overly diagnosed?

Back in the day many many years ago being able to say you’re autistic would rule you out from the diagnosis. This is how much the definitions have shifted.
I think it’s real but because it’s a “spectrum” and the diagnostics are purely behavioral it’s hard to tell at this point who’s really autistic or not, or what it even means to be an autistic.
