What does "ugly man" or "ugly woman" even mean?
Disfigured?
Someone that society doesn't like?
Someone that you personally like?
Can't you just love someone because you love them?
If you see someone that isn't seen as "beautiful" by everyone else you won't allow yourself to feel anything?
Unless you feel someone is genuinely repugnant who cares.

Taking care of a baby is a lot, I would rather share the burden with an uggo rather than doing it by myself

It absolutely matters that they're beautiful becaues of the mountains of abuse they dole out. Even if I'm average, and don't wear make-up I'd rather be single than with an unpredictable man whom god knows how they're going to turn out, what they're going to do, unless I at least FEEL SOMETHING. That's why women should just live in all-woman communes. When a member wants to have a baby she can go out and find a worthwhile, good looking guy to donate the seed then just come back to the commune. The other women will support her through pregnancy and every commune member helps raise all the children collectively.
