bullied kids will never be taken seriously Anonymous 132440

ok so basically what eats me alive lately is thinking about how the things i have been ridiculed for liking and straight up bullied is now liked by the people that hated me for liking said thing.
am i stupid for letting such thought bother me?, well, i know it’s stupid but part of me feels a bit sad, knowing i spent half my childhood up to adolescence being made fun of and hated for such little things, in which also made me extremely depressed and self isolated. seeing what made me happy and people hated me for liking being now their “interest” is so soul crushing to me.
it makes me think that all the pain i’ve felt while being bullied was just nothing, my sister used to be so mean and angry towards me for liking certain music and now she booked 2k in tickets for the concert of the bands I LIKED.
and now simply when i bring up about it it’s like “well that’s not true” “i dont remember it”.
am i in the wrong for feeling sad over things like this? it hurts me sometimes.

Bullied kids are taken seriously. That is why people who bullied you will never straight out admit what they did to you, it may sound obvious yet it's not.

People often expect others to change, to admit their mistakes. See mouthwashing, Jimmy straight out admitted what he did in the end of the game. Yet despite what he did admit, he did it in front of the consequences of his actions despite admitting it when the current thoughts happened through his mind.

What Curly experienced bullying from Jimmy was for the fact he instead of dealing with thoughts of helplessness, was the feelings of lacking more than what he had. Returning to a home, having a wife and kids and not spending his whole life on the jet.

If you think about it again, you are practically expecting them to admit the responsability of their acitons, something women often are not teached about because society expects women to bother about other things depending on where you live. Yet most of the times as I might add as well, women are not expected to fully mature and thus in consequence, they raise improper children most of the times. Or to the contrary, they are expected to be as mature as possible since children to justify abuse and labors against their will, which they might as well use irresponsability as a way to escape those chores.

The best you can do is do the same they did to you, without making it noticeable. I would recommend you to directly overcome it.

Sometimes women are taught to not be responsible because since children we are taught women should not be responsible about the consequences of their actions.

To mature is to be responsible most of the time, it's part of growing up. And it comes with judgement from others about your past all the time. Currently bullying is seen as something not cool, it's popular to defend others. If they do what's popular they will not let others know they remember what they did and even justify it.

Leave things there and if possible make them feel guilt, make them feel irresponsible, learn manipulation if you want.

Or just forget about it.
