/r/ing pictures of actual women wearing jersey pencil skirts. They look comfy but also I'm 5'3" with only a 5" bust-waist difference and I'm pretty sure the only way these things look good is by artfully tucking the shirt in really specifically, even on models.

Maybe a jersey skirt with a striped band at the top would cinch in the waist a little and make it so you don't have to tuck it in. I think the skirt pictured is from Topshop if I remember correctly.
