He looks better in the fanart imo because the RE games' artstyle looks ugly to me and they made him look greasy. Also in the future he becomes fat which is a turn off personally, I like him as a twink

The reason so many women like Resident Evil 4 Leon is because he is attractive to womens average standards: He's young, shaven, has a hot body and is confident, that's a rarity as most fictional males aren't like this and all videogame characters end up pandering to the male audience, so the male ones end up old and rugged. Both the women and men are equally attractive in this game which made it popular with women.

That's because he has neither of those things. His backstory is that he's a police officer from raccoon city. His personality is making quips (in RE4).
