stinky from stress/bodily anxiety Anonymous 22246
nonas, what do you do about sweating/producing odor from sweating? I shower frequently and keep good hygiene but it seems persistent. Other than deodorant and perfume, I can’t think of anything else. I don’t shave or do hair removal because I’m on a tight budget but apparently it helps remove smell. Are there any foods or drinks that remove body odor?
Inb4 “stop stressing”, that’s for /feels/ and is something I’m working on.

sometimes odor might not be related to your hygiene. it could be a bacterial infection, fungal infection, or an unrelated illness
having odor doesn't mean you're not clean. bodies are different like that.
just use deodorant. it's the cheapest and easiest way to go about it

>>22248agree with this. i have been experiencing frequent anxiety and apparently it makes you smell?

>>22249Yup, bodies react in odd ways.

>>22246My friend got prescription deodorant and then eventually got her sweat glands removed completely… So maybe to a doctor. Also how often do you wash your bath towel? Odor can get onto you from that too.

>>22251I use a clean towel. i have two and wash them each week/twice a wk. So at most I use one towel like 2-3 times. I also do exfoliation with one of those body scrubber cloths and put it thru the washing machine weekly.

green tea and spearmint tea helped me with anxiety/stress body odor. i had the same problem.
men's deodorant also helps if you're able to budget it. it's not my favorite but it helps so much and typically that gross man-smell dissipates quickly.

Eating greens, veggies(avoid onion tho), fruits, drinking lots of water all generally help with that.
I know you asked about foods specifically, but for me being in solitude in a well lit room helps a lot with keeping stress away too. I can't stand being in the same room with someone else for too long tbh it drives me insane and stresses me out. It's situational, but maybe it could be relevant to someone.

>>22257I tried the men’s deodorant trick, laying my regular + my perfume over it and deodorizing around the other sweat gland area. This was a lifesaver. Also been drinking the teas on a regular and eating more veggies Thank you nona :)
