I haven't been able to effectively lose weight despite trying many times. I've been fat since I was like 8 or 9 and I'm in my thirties now with diabetes and hypertension. I'm getting gastric sleeve surgery in Mexico which is around $5k.

I have tried a lot. The thing is that your enviroment really affects your chances of actually losing weight. I'm not blaming my parents, but buying take-outs every weekend really has affected all my attempts.
