tell me your secrets Anonymous 3883

what are your lil health & beauty tips and tricks?

>put sheet masks in the fridge before using them for relaxing chilly face time

>use cheap clear mascara to set brows instead of official brow gel

Anonymous 3884

adding on to the clear brow gel, my tip is to buy a clear soap bar for soap brows.
get a spoolie, get it wet and rub it on the soap bar. dab the excess suds off and run that spoolie through your brows to hold them in place. when i do this, my brows do not budge ALL DAY. the soap bar lasts forever, and in my experience its cheaper than paying for brow gel.

>After i made rice and strain it i keep the water in my fridge and dip my face in a bowl every morning
My mom says ^ is the reason why she has such great skin in her mid 50's. She liked baking in the sun in the 80's and was a smoker, so I think there's something magical about rice water.

I had never heard of soap brows but I just looked it up, good to know!!

Since it's summer I also keep some face mist in the fridge to help with the heat.

Using up toners or serums that I'm not crazy about as eye masks by soaking a cotton round cut in half and applying to the under eye area.
It also works to catch eyeshadow fallout when doing your face.

For cold weather, warming up sheet masks in a bowl of warm water helps with the shock of slapping it on one's face.

So how do I actually get rid of my fine dehydration lines?

I need them to go. I have a very young face and structure but these fine lines are killing me

hydraluanoic acid serum? it's supposed to "to attract and hold vast amounts of moisture"

Anonymous 4084

>>4051

why? is it a dudely secret?

Anonymous 4112

Drink a lot of water and herbal tea, eat a lot of fruit and vegetables. That's my 'secret'; I'm a basic bitch.

Anonymous 4116

How do you keep up with a skin care routine? I want to have cleaner skin, and take care of myself more. I don't have like a lot of acne or anything but I have a few bumps here and there and I want them to go away. I'm trying to drink more water.

Anonymous 4125

>>4116

i like to make myself a cup of tea before i sit down to do my routine! i think it's important that you can do it cmfortably somewhere. i set up a 'skincare&make-up'-corner on my desk with a small mirror so i can do it comfortably while sitting.

used to do all of this in the bathroom and got sick of standing for so long lmao so i ended up not going through with it most of the time

Thanks anon! That's actually a really neat idea, I'll try that

I love rice water and rice exfoliator. I just really really love the smell of it, as well, so even if it doesn't work, it relaxes me with its smell.

I'll buy powdered ginseng and try out a homemade mask ginseng and rice mask in the future.

Do you use the rinse water or the cooking water?

Anonymous 4138

I keep all of my skincare products out of my bathroom. I don’t have any windows in there and it gets really hot and damp, which can cause bacteria to grow on your products. Refrigerating products in the summer is also one of my favourite things to do!

Anonymous 4146

>>4136

Hm, I ground them to make an exfoliator, and soak them in water. So rinse, I guess?

I will try other types when possible.

When using clay masks (which I high recommend if you don't do that already; check which type of clay is better for you!), instead of using water to make it, use green tea. Tea is rich in antioxidants, it soothes the skin and, imo, it smells really good.

Make a big batch of green tea and keep it in the fridge! You can use for drinking as well, of course, which is also great for you in general.

Anonymous 4176

i wash my face with cold water in the morning

Anonymous 4181

i like to put coconut oil in my lashes (not too much) and use it as a highlighter sometimes when im too lazy to use actual make up lol. i also do oil pulling with it once a week and my teeth are soooo healthy and clean looking

also when i get up, i wash my face and then put a how towel on it so my pores open up. it also feels really good.

Anonymous 4231

In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.
