Vintage fashion Anonymous 965

Let's discuss fashion pre 1960. Where can find cute shoes like this?

Thrift stores and vintage stores usually have shoes similar to this. Or you can check local shoe stores for shoes similar to these.

These all look like Salvatore Ferragamo brand shoes OP!

It's a good brand, well-made shoes. Pic related is a typical pair of their shoes. You can get them on sale pretty easily online.

The shoes second from the bottom remind me of jellybeans, I can't unsee it.

But anyway I love the 1930's silhouette, it's so long and sleek. I'm not even embarrassed to admit that I try to recreate it in my outfits.

Clarks makes tons of shoes like that! They're also super comfortable and will last you a good long time.

Does anyone know where I can get normal loafers, like Bass Weejuns, in Europe? All shoes nowadays seem to be overly long and pointy and I'm a stubby hobbit-chan with wide feet. They always try to sell them to me with the promise that they''ll 'elongate my legs' but my feet end up looking so narrow compared to my thighs that it just looks like I'm wearing clown shoes. I can't order anything from overseas, the local customs would skin me alive.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but a lot of Italian brands carry cute loafers.

I'm the anonchan who recommended these >>967 (Salvatore Ferragamo)
I guess I'll recommend them again (I don't own a pair of this brand of shoes, but read many great things about them!). I recommend them because they have TONS of styles, tend to go on sale (don't be scared by retail price, since most people will not pay the original MSRP), and most importantly: they've got a TON of widths available. Some models only have some widths, but I've seen AAAA, AAA, AA, A, B, C, D, E, EE, EEE, EEEE (AAAA is narrowest, EEEE is widest).

Tod's is another brand that is probably available in most of Europe. They specialize in loafers, although they have other shoes too. I only have 1 pair and they seem to run much wider than a lot of brands imo. (pic related is a random pair of Tod's I found online) Link here looks kind of like Bass Weejuns I think: http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/tods-penny-loafer-women/4060969?cm_mmc=google-_-productads-_-33067298789_-_-89126181&rkg_id=h-0022581bda7ca55a4933890848166083_t-1502355615&adpos=1o2&creative=145503081590&device=c&network=s&gclid=Cj0KCQjwiLDMBRDFARIsACNmiX9AHQOcVe_ddL0FgfKNhuWchQmf87oqqHzP2CGV6yjn6mC0HP_cp3EaArO9EALw_wcB

Also, as I entered that page I saw these (which should surely be available in Europe): http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/hunter-original-waterproof-rubber-penny-loafer-women/4677305?origin=coordinating-4677305-0-3-PDP_1-recbot-also_viewed2&recs_placement=PDP_1&recs_strategy=also_viewed2&recs_source=recbot&recs_page_type=product

Excellent price, and good brand (I'm obsessed with patent leather, so sorry if that's not your style, but I'm sure they have matte finishes too). Hope this helps anon!

Samefagging to correct myself on the Tod's when I said I only own one pair. I only own one pair of the loafers, but also have one pair of their heels. The heels seem normal width, but the loafers seem wider than most brands (they are much better known for their loafers though!).
