I used to draw lots when I was 10-15, but then I stoped. I'm trying to get back into it to do something else than doomscrolling all day.
Bought an intuos and CSP because they're cheap and been going on for a week and half so far. My skills right now are just simple pokemon because that's all I used to draw back then lol but when I get more used to the tablet I will start to finally practice other stuff.

1. The positioning of the eyes particularly her left eye make it look like her head is in a model-like tilt pose, but the position of her other facial features look like her head is upright in 3/4th view. One important thing to remember when drawing the head is that the face wraps around the skull like curved paper.
2. When shading, instead of going down on the color box (known as shading with black), try bending the hue. For example her skin has a yellow undertone, so try shading with an orange-ish yellow.
3. Last thing is that your strokes look good, but they don't seem to have a lot of line-weight which should vary with the pressure. Maybe this is a setting you could tweak?
Otherwise lovely drawing. The way you designed her irises is quite inventive and the lighting on her hair is so pretty. I love her pop star aesthetic

6. If you like symbolism and impressionism, look at David Boyd's paintings (NSFW probably). They might inspire you - even if you hate them.
7. Remember to periodically zoom out as you work.
