geez. i guess for someone from the countryside this must be fascinating.

where i live there is a population density of 13000 people per km². a smart country would try to outlaw this kind of density because it is soulcrushing and dystopian. all the buildings should only have ground level and a nice roof garden on top; no first floor! first floor was the first mistake. people need more space.

My grandfather used to get tailored suits from a Chinese man from there. The tailor would come to the states once every few years with a bunch of textiles and very high-quality clothing fabrics made there. It was the 1970s, and Kowloon was the only place that still made certain styles of fabric (stuff that was popular in the 50s). Super wierd stuff.

There is nothing wrong with 3-4 floors buildings if the town is heavy on infrastructure and the parkings are underground.
But usually, they just build more housing unit, facotries ot dystopian offices as needed without thinking of how people will live.
