WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES Anonymous 37322

Hello NONAS,
I hope you're all doing well.
I've found myself genuinely curious about what hobbies you all enjoy. It might sound a bit unusual, but I’m currently on a quest to discover new interests whether niche or common that can satisfy my desire to engage in something meaningful and fulfilling.

Im a history/sword nerd who collects historical replicas. At the moment my main interest is in antique tsuba(japanese sword guards)
Don't reccomend though. Its expensive and while Ive met some pretty cool people, the hobby is 70% crusty stuffy old moids who havnt gotten laid since the y2k and try to brag about shit they clearly havnt done

This is so cool nona. How expensive are the replicas? I am really into ancient history, mostly egypt and mesopotamia, and want to start collecting things.

For entry level swords the general price is 200-350 USD but the market is kinda fucked right now because of tarrifs. You can find fuctional japanese swords for 100 bucks, they wont be pretty tho.
If you wanna meet other nonas your better off sticking to HEMA, specifically Rapier Fencing, though I've known more than a few girls who were into german longsword fencing. Unfortunately japanese/chinese swords have the issue where you have to deal with a bunch of old fatasses and autistic anime watchers.
>nevermind I met my bf because he was designing a custom katana based off demonslayer lololol
For Tsuba, you can honestly just go on etsy and find cheap chinese stuff for like 50 bucks, you can find nicer modern Japanese tsuba for around 150. The antiques arent too expensive but you gotta be willing to check listings weekly and wade through pages of rusty iron to find a cool one
For euroswords, if you just want a cheap piece of metal that looks cool, theres a brand called deepeeka thats sells stuff in the 150 range, these are purely decorative tho, dont wack stuff with them or theyll break. I dragon king Katana, there on the more expensive side but they look really nice and base all there designs on historical pieces.

I collect old classical music vinyls, collect books as well on things I am interested in. Physics, math, history and sociology (plus other social sciences)

I have a collection on war history, and focused on nazis for a while. Mainly books in german.

Those are my hobbies. Collecting books and vinyls, I am an autist.
