usually, I think it is kinda silly when image board users complain about not having enough boards, but I actually think I agree nona.

and yes I know, all of these fall under the /media/ umbrella but like, that personally is why im not a big fan of that board to begin with. Because of how slow the board is, a single interest will have all of its threads regularly bumped to the top and that will dominate it for a bit and this will sometimes bury unique threads.

If there was at least a hobby board or maybe a news board, I'd post a lot more here instead of on other imageboards.

This is what the /media/ board is for. It is the slowest and deadest board on here. There isn’t enough traffic to break out into different boards. Just post more often on /media/ until there is enough traffic to make separate boards.

A /stem/ board would be nice since /g/ on 4chan and every other altchan is not only male dominated but they refuse to believe women exist and are capable of using the internet. We are half of the total population, but noooo we must be trannies when we post on /g/.

I think it'd be nice to just have a board where people can talk about their interests (y'know, like the MAIN REASON TO HAVE AN IMAGEBOARD) like I mentioned >>12425 (obviously explicitly excluding mindless consumption like buyfaggotry and things that belong on media).

a news board would be nice. Pretty the only reason I use /pol/ is because it feels like the only place to get live discussions on daily news as its happening in real time

While this is broadly true for the internet at large, this is what attracts tourists/off-board spammers to "interact" with a greater fraction of the board. A more curated experience encourages regulars and higher quality users.

For example, a lot of the time I ignore the new posts on the front page because I know they're all going to be spam from the same 2-3 spam threads. A feature to hide threads in the catalog would be great.

I don't know if a cow board or a board dedicated to hate threads would work and I know most Miners hate the idea but I may as well throw it out there. Of course this doesn't matter because Admin is never on this site

Tech board, art board, yarn weaving/textile board, hobby board in general

I would love to see any of these boards on cc in my lifetime
